Circle has entered into a strategic partnership with the Argentine securities firm Allaria to enhance USDC liquidity. The collaboration focuses on providing two-sided USDC/ARS quotes, allowing institutional market participants to buy and sell the stablecoin against the Argentine peso through a local provider.

Allaria brings over 55 years of experience in brokerage and asset management to the partnership. The service is specifically designed for qualified institutional players rather than retail users, aiming to streamline treasury management and digital liquidity access within the country.

This agreement follows Circle’s July 2026 partnership with Grupo BIND, which utilized the BEN platform to facilitate institutional access to USDC under the local PSAV licensing framework. At the time of the previous deal, the market capitalization of USDC had exceeded $70 billion.

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire attributes the company's expansion in Argentina to improved fiscal indicators and the relaxation of currency regulations. Currently, USDC accounts for approximately 46% of the stablecoin transaction volume in Argentina, challenging the regional dominance of USDT.
