AMD and Meta have expanded their AI partnership, adding Helios systems, EPYC processors, and model support to their existing multi-year agreement. The deal now includes a $1 billion equity investment from Meta into AMD.

The collaboration builds on a February 2026 pact involving up to 6 gigawatts of Instinct GPUs and EPYC Venice CPUs. Helios racks, which support up to 72 Instinct MI455X GPUs, provide 2.9 exaFLOPS of FP4 performance.

Meta holds performance-based warrants for up to 160 million AMD shares tied to shipment milestones. Meanwhile, Meta is pursuing a $95 billion equity raise, with AMD, Nvidia, and Broadcom considering investments.

Nvidia has separately committed $3 billion to its own partnership with Meta for the Muse AI agent. Muse, which launched in September 2026, runs on EPYC Turin processors and currently serves over 500,000 daily users.
