Amazon is discontinuing its Fire HD tablet line to focus on more expensive Alexa Tablets. Despite this shift, the company has reduced the price of the ad-supported Fire HD 10 model to $72.99, marking a discount of $82.
The Fire HD 10 features a 10.1-inch 1080p display and offers up to 13 hours of battery life. It includes a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 1TB and retains a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The device runs on Fire OS and supports Alexa Plus for Prime members. While it does not natively support the Google Play Store, users can sideload Android applications, though performance may be limited by the hardware specifications.
