The Alliance for a Better Future (ABF), a conservative advocacy group founded on March 23, 2026, and led by CEO Janet Kelly, has launched a seven-figure advertising campaign. The initiative supports three Republican lawmakers: Senator Susan Collins of Maine, Senator Roger Marshall of Kansas, and Representative Ashley Hinson of Iowa.
The organization advocates for AI innovation while emphasizing the need for consumer and child protections. The campaign aims to position these candidates as supporters of AI regulation with guardrails ahead of the 2026 midterm elections. The ads were previewed by Fox News Digital.
Beyond the current advertising push, ABF intends to spend at least eight figures throughout 2026 on federal and state advocacy, lobbying, and public education. The group is supported by a coalition of conservative organizations, including the Heritage Foundation and the Family Policy Alliance.
Internal surveys conducted by ABF indicate that 83% of likely voters are concerned about AI development. Respondents favored companies that implement consumer protections over those operating without restrictions by a margin of 81 to 10, with 77% preferring candidates who prioritize AI safeguards.
