A Reddit user reported a fraudulent transaction on the AliExpress platform after ordering an AMD Ryzen 9 5950X processor. Upon delivery, the package contained an outdated AMD Athlon X4 CPU instead of the 16-core flagship model requested by the buyer.

The seller rejected the buyer's request for a full refund and proposed a compensation of 0 Swiss francs. To dispute the claim, the seller provided a video showing the packaging process of a processor, but the buyer noted that the footage lacked continuous recording and failed to link the specific CPU to the shipping label.

The buyer has submitted evidence to AliExpress, including photos of the received Athlon X4, the original shipping label, and the serial number. While waiting for the platform's resolution, the user has frozen the payment through the Klarna service to prevent financial loss.

If the dispute resolution on AliExpress does not favor the buyer, the user intends to initiate a chargeback process through their credit card issuer or bank, citing fraud as the primary reason for the claim.
