AIB Data Centers has signed a 12-year agreement to provide 50 megawatts of critical IT load to the AI cloud platform Nebius. The project will utilize the CLT-01 campus in South Carolina, which is supported by 65 megawatts of utility power secured through a 15-year electric service agreement.

The company, formerly known as BlockchAIn Digital Infrastructure, previously operated Bitcoin mining facilities. Following the decommissioning of its mining rigs, the firm raised approximately $63 million in an equity offering to facilitate its transition into AI infrastructure.

Revenue from the Nebius contract is projected to commence in the second half of 2027. The agreement includes annual escalators of 3 percent or adjustments linked to the Consumer Price Index. Industry estimates suggest annual revenue for this capacity could reach between $90 million and $100 million.

AIB Data Centers is currently developing approximately 140 megawatts at its South Carolina site, with a total development pipeline of about 570 megawatts across various locations. The firm employs a power-first development strategy, prioritizing electricity supply agreements before facility construction.

Nebius is expanding its infrastructure capacity and aims to secure over 4 gigawatts of contracted power by the end of 2026. The company currently holds over 3.5 gigawatts under contract, with existing agreements involving major technology firms such as Meta and Microsoft.
