A group of 110 Expedition A3 humanoid robots, developed by AgiBot, performed a synchronized dance in China on October 24. The performance set a new Guinness World Record for the largest number of humanoid robots dancing simultaneously.
The robots executed complex maneuvers, including jumps and somersaults, using the LinkBots cluster management platform and ultra-wideband positioning technology. This system ensures location accuracy within one centimeter, demonstrating advanced coordination capabilities.
China is actively scaling its robotics sector. In the first half of 2026, domestic companies produced over 40,000 units across 400 different models. The annual production volume is projected to exceed 100,000 robots by the end of the year.
The government has launched an initiative to develop over 100 high-efficiency application scenarios. Currently, more than 300 priority use cases have been identified for testing and industrial deployment to facilitate mass adoption.
