Affirm has signed a multiyear agreement to become the exclusive provider of pay-over-time services for Sam’s Club. The integration will debut on the retailer’s website in the coming weeks, with a rollout to physical store locations scheduled for 2027.

Customers using the service can apply for financing directly at checkout and receive immediate decisions. Affirm states that it does not impose late fees or compound interest on its plans. Users are provided with clear payment schedules and payoff dates before finalizing their transactions.

The partnership arrives as BNPL providers face increased competition for market share. Data shows that 74% of BNPL users utilized two or more services in the three months leading up to May, compared to 68% in April 2025. Affirm currently leads the sector, reaching 50% of U.S. BNPL users.

Affirm reported strong growth in its fiscal fourth quarter, with transaction volume rising 41% year over year to 53 million. Gross merchandise volume increased by 36% to $14.1 billion. The company also saw its active Affirm Card user base more than double to 5.2 million.

This deal follows Affirm’s recent efforts to secure major retail distribution, including a partnership with Amazon in the United Kingdom announced in September. The Sam’s Club arrangement aims to further expand the company’s reach across a broader consumer base.
