The 8BitDo Orion 3 Youth Competitive Edition controller, known globally as the Ultimate 3C+, is now available for pre-order. The device is priced at ¥199, with shipping scheduled to begin on October 26.
The controller features TMR sensor joysticks with adjustable resistance ranging from 40 to 80gf. It includes dual-mode triggers that allow switching between Hall-effect linear and micro-switch non-linear operation, alongside additional R4, L4, PR, and PL buttons.
The hardware measures 155.7 by 104.5 by 62 mm and weighs 240.5 grams. It supports three-mode wireless connectivity, with a magnetic slot on the back to store the 2.4 GHz receiver.
The device is powered by a 500mAh battery, providing up to 20 hours of usage in 2.4 GHz mode or 32 hours via Bluetooth. The package includes a DIY cardboard stand for the controller.
