iReader has officially unveiled the Ocean 6 Pro e-reader, which is now available for pre-order. The device is offered in two color options: black and green. The retail price for the new model is set at ¥1799.
The device features a 7-inch Carta 1300 display with a pixel density of 300 PPI. The screen utilizes nano-etched tempered glass and supports 30 levels of brightness and color temperature adjustment. The hardware design includes physical page-turning buttons and a recessed screen structure.
Under the hood, the Ocean 6 Pro is powered by a 6nm 8-core processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The manufacturer claims a 300% performance increase compared to the previous generation, supported by a 50 frames per second refresh technology.
The e-reader weighs 196 grams and measures approximately 7mm in thickness. It is equipped with a 3000mAh battery, which provides up to 91 hours of reading time or 23 days of standby time.
