Zankore, a neocloud platform specializing in AI compute, has secured a senior term loan facility of up to $3.1 billion. The deal, announced on September 9, 2026, aims to deploy GPU infrastructure across Indonesia and Southeast Asia.
Citi acted as the exclusive debt adviser for the transaction. The lending group features ING, Natixis CIB, Qatar National Bank, and UOB as mandated lead arrangers. This marks the first syndicated financing of this magnitude in the APAC AI sector.
The company launched in August 2026 with backing from Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, Ooredoo Group, NVIDIA, and Nokia. Ooredoo Group previously invested roughly $800 million for a 49% stake. Total committed capital now stands at nearly $4 billion.
Zankore intends to deploy an initial 100 MW of NVIDIA infrastructure. The firm targets 200 MW of capacity by the first half of 2027, with a long-term goal of reaching 1 GW of NVIDIA DSX AI Factory capacity within three years.
The business model focuses on providing GPU-as-a-Service to regional startups and enterprises. Additionally, the platform plans to support the development of Sahabat-AI, a large language model designed for Southeast Asian languages.
