YouTube has introduced a suite of AI-powered tools for creators, including the Ask Studio feature. This tool analyzes channel data and user comments to provide personalized feedback, suggest titles, and offer thumbnail recommendations. The feature is also expanding to mobile applications.
The platform is enhancing its A/B testing capabilities. Starting in 2027, creators can test three different versions of Shorts. Additionally, the new Dynamic Thumbnails feature allows YouTube to automatically select the thumbnail most likely to engage viewers from a set of uploaded options.
For monetization, YouTube is implementing AI-driven product auto-tagging to support affiliate programs. The company is also expanding its Amazon affiliate partnership beyond the United States to help creators earn more revenue.
New live streaming features include real-time auto-dubbing, which will be piloted early next year. YouTube is also launching a live co-hosting tool that allows creators to collaborate and engage in head-to-head matchups with interactive viewer support.
Platform data shows significant growth in the microdrama sector, which reached over 6,5 billion views in the first half of 2026. Watch time for this content increased by 50% year-over-year, with TV viewership for microdramas rising by 90%.
