Yandex Cloud has restored most services for AI development following drone attacks on its data centers. As of October 14, the AI Studio platform has regained access to YandexGPT and Alice AI models, along with Realtime, Retrieval, and Embeddings APIs. Users can now deploy AI agents to messengers and web widgets.

Despite the progress, some components remain offline, including Workflows, Batch Inference API, and Dedicated Models. SpeechKit has resumed operations for API v1 and v3, supporting both synchronous and asynchronous audio processing. The Alice AI Pro for business service is also active, though it currently operates with functional limitations.

The company warns that users may face restrictions when creating new resources or increasing consumption quotas. Clients requiring additional capacity are advised to contact technical support for assistance. These disruptions follow a series of drone strikes that impacted various Yandex services, including taxi, food delivery, and payment systems.

A significant incident occurred on the night of October 11, when a power failure at a Yandex Cloud zone caused a complete shutdown of the facility. Prior to this, two other data centers were damaged by drone strikes. Yandex confirmed that user funds in Yandex Pay remain secure, as account records are stored in multiple redundant copies across different locations.
