The voice was recreated by analyzing and cleaning archival recordings, then adapting Yandex speech synthesis models to match the author's intonation.
The platform also features interactive games based on Tolstoy's literature. Users can influence plot developments for characters like Natasha Rostova or Zhilin. The AI generates unique story paths based on user decisions, which can be shared with others. These features are available in the Alice AI, Yandex, and browser applications from September 9 to September 14.
Yandex has introduced a 3D model of the Khamovniki estate in Yandex Maps, featuring thematic details. Additionally, Yandex rovers displaying quotes from the writer's diaries will operate near the estate. These initiatives coincide with the writer's birthday celebrations.
In collaboration with the Leo Tolstoy State Museum, Yandex Cloud has processed over 20,000 photographs from the writer's archives. The images were categorized by genre, and future plans include using neural networks to identify individuals and link related photos. This project aims to digitize and preserve the author's legacy for researchers.
