Yandex has integrated a new educational module into its Alice AI assistant, designed to help students prepare for the Unified State Exam (EGE) and master school subjects. The tool focuses on identifying knowledge gaps and providing step-by-step explanations in a conversational format.

The module features a training simulator for basic and advanced mathematics, with tasks aligned to the requirements of the Federal Institute for Pedagogical Measurements. Students can track their progress through statistics and receive personalized guidance on difficult topics.

The system covers the mathematics curriculum for grades 5–11, allowing users to submit problems via text or photos. Alice AI explains logic and solutions through interactive dialogue, including guidance on quadratic equations and discriminants.

English language support is currently being rolled out, offering practice for the written portion of the EGE and vocabulary training. The module was developed by the Yandex Education team, which previously launched an AI-powered platform for exam preparation.

In the previous academic year, users of the Yandex Education platform achieved an average score of 68.7 in computer science, which is 10 points higher than the national average. The new module is accessible via the main menu in the Alice AI app and web interface.
