The Yandex caller ID service is now integrated into the Huawei nova 16s, a new flagship smartphone. This feature identifies potentially unsafe incoming and outgoing calls, providing users with advance warnings. The company plans to expand this integration to other future Huawei smartphone models.

The service is embedded directly into the smartphone operating system. This allows call information to appear in system notifications during a call. Users can also report unwanted numbers directly from their call logs. The database currently contains over 160 million phone numbers.

In addition to flagging suspicious activity, the tool identifies verified numbers, such as those from banks or delivery services. To function, the service requires an internet connection and the latest version of the Yandex with Alice AI application. Users can activate it during initial setup or via the phone settings.
