The email archive in Yandex 360 is designed as a tool that saves copies of all emails sent and received by organization employees. It only includes emails from mailboxes created on the organization's domain. Copies remain in the archive even if the employee deletes the email from their own mailbox, provided the archive was enabled at the time of deletion.

Search in the archive is not a simple input field but a created object. Each search is a one-time snapshot of results based on specific filters such as attachments, specific mailboxes, time intervals, and sender/recipient fields. These results do not update automatically as new emails arrive. To get updated results, users must manually create a new search or clone an existing one and update the time period.

The activity log for the archive records all actions, including who performed a search. This log is accessible via the organization's cabinet in the Management Logs section. However, the employee filter in this log only lists active employees. If an administrator is dismissed, their actions remain in the log, but they cannot be selected via the employee filter; instead, other filters like event type and period must be used.

Regarding account status, emails from blocked accounts remain available in the archive, but emails from accounts that have been completely deleted from the organization are not saved. There are four main reasons why an email might not be found: overly strict search terms, searching imported mailboxes, emails deleted before the archive was enabled, or the employee being deleted from the organization.

As of September 4, 2026, the Yandex 360 API does not provide documented methods for managing the archive or reading its activity log. All archive operations, including updating search snapshots, are performed exclusively through the web interface of the organization's cabinet.
