Xiaomi is set to unveil its new Redmi Book 2027 laptop series on October 27. The upcoming devices will feature current-generation Intel Core processors, 72 Wh batteries, and redesigned chassis. The manufacturer positions these laptops primarily for mobile work and office tasks, excluding discrete graphics cards.

The 16-inch model, Redmi Book 16 2027, will introduce a full-size keyboard with a dedicated numeric keypad, a feature frequently requested by users. According to product marketing director Ma Zhiyu, the device will also support user-replaceable DDR5 RAM via SO-DIMM slots. The cooling system has been updated to include two fans and a heat pipe.

The 14-inch version is expected to feature a 2.8K resolution display and a connectivity suite including two USB-A ports, two USB-C ports, HDMI, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. While official pricing remains undisclosed, analysts suggest the new models may see price increases due to rising memory chip costs.
