Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Gas Stove 3 Max, the company's first AI-controlled cooking appliance. The device is currently available for pre-order on JD.com at a price of ¥2704, which drops to ¥2299 after applying government subsidies.

The stove features an AI-driven dry-burn protection system using a 500-degree titanium alloy sensor that monitors pot temperature to prevent overheating and automatically cuts off gas. A new radar module detects human presence within a 0.9-meter range, triggering alerts after 30 minutes of absence and shutting down the stove after 60 minutes.

Both burners offer a power output of 5200W with dual-channel oxygen supply and 154 flame ports. The unit is rated at Level 1 energy efficiency with 75% thermal efficiency, which is a 12% improvement over the previous model. Xiaomi estimates this efficiency can save users approximately ¥980 in gas costs over eight years.

The appliance includes independent timers for both burners, adjustable from 1 to 180 minutes. The design features an AG micro-crystalline glass panel with a hydrophobic and oleophobic coating for easier cleaning. The adjustable base supports installation in cutouts ranging from 630-710 mm by 330-400 mm.
