The new Xiaomi thermos features a 500 ml capacity and is designed for brewing tea on the go. Its primary mechanism uses a flip-based design to separate tea leaves from water. Users initiate brewing by turning the device over, allowing water to enter the tea compartment. Returning the thermos to an upright position stops the process by separating the liquid from the leaves.
The device is constructed from titanium with a purity level exceeding 99 percent, including the body, filter, and inner lid components. The tea chamber is made of BPA-free Tritan, allowing users to monitor the infusion visually. The design accommodates various beverages, including herbal and fruit teas, and the tea compartment can be removed to use the product as a standard water thermos.
The thermos utilizes vacuum insulation technology. According to the manufacturer, the device maintains water temperatures at 45 degrees Celsius for up to six hours. The product is available in two color options: space gray and lunar silver. It is currently priced at ¥200.
