The new Mijia Smart Curtain 3 features a brushless motor designed to fit inside a curtain box. The motor unit measures 54 by 77 by 103 millimeters, with a rated power of 30 watts and a torque of 1.2 Newton-meters. The system uses a 360-degree sensor and current analysis to adjust speed based on the fabric weight, supporting loads of up to 50 kilograms.
The curtain rail system allows for a total length of up to 8 meters using direct connections. For installations exceeding 3 meters, users must purchase additional extension kits. The device integrates with the Xiaomi Mi Home ecosystem and offers six control methods, including Xiao Ai voice commands, remote control, manual operation, and automated lighting scenarios.
Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Curtain 3 on the Chinese market via the JD.com platform. The standard retail price is set at ¥705. However, customers in certain regions may qualify for government subsidies that reduce the final purchase price to ¥599.
