Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for the Mijia Smart Clothes Dryer 3 Max, a ceiling-mounted device featuring a dedicated zone for gentle drying and sterilization. The unit is priced at ¥2698.75 during the initial sales period. It utilizes a 1250 W heating channel measuring 770 mm, which the manufacturer claims dries clothing five times faster than standard air drying.
The system offers three operating modes: standard heating, intelligent drying based on humidity sensors, and a 10 W natural breeze mode. For sanitization, the device uses antibacterial mesh components and a high-concentration plasma discharge to eliminate odors. The product is certified by the China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute for use in maternal and infant care environments.
The dryer features a 2.4-meter structure with five zones, supporting a maximum load of 45 kg. It includes a 42-inch dimmable light panel with a color temperature range of 2700 K to 5700 K and a 24 GHz millimeter-wave proximity sensor. The mechanism is rated for 6000 lifting cycles using 2 mm steel cables and includes safety features against overloads and collisions.
The device measures 9 cm in thickness when folded and supports both surface and recessed mounting. Users can control the dryer via the Mi Home app, integrate it into the Xiaomi ecosystem, or use Xiao Ai voice commands. The construction incorporates protection systems to prevent mechanical failures during operation.
