Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for its new Mijia Health Wash 1KG dual-drum washing machine on JD.com. The device is scheduled to begin official sales on October 20. Following national subsidies, the final price for the unit is set at ¥1299.
The machine features a compact design with a footprint of less than 0.2 square meters, allowing for placement on bathroom countertops or atop larger front-loading washers. It is equipped with a double-layer anti-scald lid and non-slip feet. The total capacity of 1KG is divided into two independent 0.5KG drums, utilizing separate water circuits for each.
The appliance includes 23 distinct washing and care programs and has received certification for maternal and infant care. It integrates with the Xiaomi HyperOS ecosystem, enabling connectivity with other smart home devices. For instance, the machine can trigger an automated clothes rack to lower once a wash cycle is complete.
