Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Smart Gas Water Heater 2, featuring a 16L capacity and a noise-reduction system. The device has received CQC noise certification, with operating noise levels as low as 32 dB(A).
The unit utilizes a sealed combustion chamber and a DC inverter fan, allowing it to withstand wind speeds up to level 12. It includes a high-pressure pump that increases water flow by up to 245%, making it suitable for low-pressure environments like high-rise buildings.
The heater achieves level 1 energy efficiency with a thermal efficiency of 107%. It features a condensate-free design that eliminates the need for external drainage pipes, preventing wall damage and corrosion.
The system supports smart features via the Mijia app and Xiaomi smart speakers, including multiple preheating modes. It also includes a six-stage filtration system that claims a 99.9% antibacterial rate for water quality protection.
