Xiaomi has launched a crowdfunding campaign on its Youpin platform for the new Mijia C-series ceiling lights. The lineup includes two models: the L90, designed for living rooms ranging from 25 to 45 square meters, and the D40, intended for bedrooms smaller than 15 square meters.
The L90 model is priced at ¥539, while the D40 is available for ¥269. Both versions feature a slim, minimalist design with a matte finish to prevent glare. The L90 measures 900x600x85mm, and the D40 has a diameter of 400mm with a height of 75mm.
Technical specifications include a rated power of 108W for the L90 and 30W for the D40, with luminous flux reaching 8400lm and 2500lm respectively. The lights utilize full-spectrum LED beads with a color rendering index of Ra95 and support color temperature adjustments between 2700K and 5700K.
The devices have passed TUV SUD testing, achieving an RG0 exemption level for blue light hazards and flicker-free operation. The hardware design incorporates wide-angle side lighting to minimize shadows, while the lamp covers are treated with anti-UV agents to prevent yellowing over time.
Users can manage the lighting through the Mijia app, which allows for scene presets and personalized settings. The products also support smart home integration, enabling connectivity with other Xiaomi devices such as smart speakers and electronic door locks.
