Crypto trader Garrett Jin opened a long position of 1,330 BTC on September 18, 2026. The trade was executed within a four-hour window at an average price of $78,057, totaling approximately $107 million. The position was primarily opened via the Hyperliquid platform.
Following the entry, Bitcoin price rose to $80,843, resulting in $3.05 million in unrealized profits for the trader. Analysts note that this entry point now represents the largest cluster of net long notional at that price level, with 96% of all net long positions currently in profit.
Market observers suggest Jin may increase his holdings to 2,450 BTC, which would value the position at over $190 million. Earlier in September 2026, the trader had reduced a separate long position worth $147 million, which analysts describe as a strategic profit-taking move before re-accumulation.
The current market structure shows minimal overhead resistance, as nearly all bullish bets were established below the current spot price. The $78,057 level is now considered a critical psychological and structural floor for Bitcoin, as it holds a significant concentration of bullish capital.
