The VPN-TIME service operates on a pay-as-you-go model where users purchase hours that do not expire. Pricing scales with volume: 10 hours cost 4 RUB per hour, while 1000 hours cost 1 RUB per hour. Billing is calculated in minutes based on traffic activity monitored via the Xray API.

To simplify Android TV setup, the service integrates with the HAPP Android TV API. Users enter a five-character code from their TV into a Telegram bot, which then pushes the subscription URL directly to the device. This method enforces a strict one-subscription-per-device policy.

The service transitioned from OpenVPN to Xray and implemented a traffic redirection scheme using Linux Netfilter (DNAT and SNAT) to avoid running Xray on intermediate nodes. This setup is currently being tested on a Swiss server route.

To mitigate potential Telegram access issues, the service provides 10 free minutes daily to users with empty balances. Additionally, the developer deployed WEB Proxy and MTProxy solutions. Infrastructure monitoring is conducted using RIPE Atlas API.

The developer created SINVER, an open-source tool for server and IP inventory management, currently in MVP stage. Other recent developments include the launch of a website, a YouTube channel, and branded merchandise.
