The Elar Group has supplied an ElarScan A3-H planetary scanner to the Voskresensk Centralized Library System in the Moscow Region. This professional-grade equipment is designed for contactless digitization of books, bound editions, and various documents, allowing staff to create high-quality digital copies while preserving the original materials.
The device features an extended scanning area larger than the standard A3 format, enabling the capture of full book spreads without distortion. It includes an adjustable book cradle for V-shaped scanning, which prevents damage to spines and bindings. The system is equipped with LED lighting that eliminates UV and IR exposure, along with an anti-glare mode for reflective surfaces.
The scanner comes with ScanImage software for process management and image post-processing, ensuring accurate color reproduction and geometric correction. Both the ElarScan hardware and the ScanImage software are registered in the official Russian registries for electronics and software, confirming their compliance for use in municipal institutions.
