Treble, an Iceland-based startup specializing in voice simulation, has secured $18 million in a Series A funding extension. The round was led by Paladin Capital Group, with participation from existing investors including KOMPAS VC, Frumtak Ventures, EIC, and Omega ehf.
Founded in 2020 by acoustic engineers Finnur Pind and Jesper Pedersen, the company has raised over $40 million in total funding to date. This includes a previous investment of $12 million received in 2024. The startup currently counts Amazon and Logitech among its clients.
The platform provides synthetic data generation for speech enhancement, noise suppression, and model training. It also offers evaluation services for voice AI models and recently partnered with Hugging Face to launch a benchmark for speech recognition models.
Beyond software, Treble assists hardware manufacturers with virtual prototyping for headphones, speakers, and smart glasses. The company is now expanding its focus into physical AI, including robotics, automotive, and drone sectors, to improve sound-based functionality.
