VkusVill has expanded its automated delivery routing system, developed by Veeroute, to cover 70% of its dark stores in Moscow and the Moscow region. By the end of September 2026, the system was operational in 144 locations, handling 56% of all orders.

The platform integrates with the VkusVill courier app to assign orders and optimize routes in real time. It utilizes a complex engine comprising over 200 unique algorithms, machine learning models, and more than 120 configurable parameters to account for local traffic and store-specific operational needs.

The adoption of automated routing has shown measurable improvements in delivery performance. Data from July and August 2026 indicates that orders processed through the system experienced a 26.5% lower delay rate compared to manual routing, with the average delay duration reduced by 46.1%.

Efficiency gains were also noted in the dispatch process, as the time between an order becoming available and the start of delivery decreased by 28.8%. The share of automated orders in the region grew from 11.4% in the first quarter of 2026 to 56% by the end of September.
