VK Tech has announced updates to its VK WorkSpace platform, enabling organizations to merge multiple corporate domains into a single tenant. This feature will be available in the SaaS version by the end of 2026, while the On-Premise version already supports federation for installations running version 26.2 or higher.

The platform now allows users to invite external partners, contractors, and clients into internal workflows. New security controls have been added to the Disk service, including password protection for links and expiration settings, while the Calendar service now allows sharing availability without disclosing meeting details.

The On-Premise architecture is transitioning from Docker Compose to Kubernetes. A new graphical installer provides a step-by-step migration process and includes mandatory automated infrastructure checks against system requirements, alongside recommended configurations for virtual machines.

VK Tech is integrating AI capabilities across its suite, including Messenger, Video Conferencing, Mail, Calendar, and Disk. The company has also introduced a dedicated AI Assistant and an MCP server designed to facilitate the integration of AI agents within the corporate environment.
