Vivo is preparing to launch its new X500 smartphone series this month. The lineup will include three models: the standard X500, the X500 Pro, and the top-tier X500 Pro Max. Live images of the base and Pro Max versions have already appeared online via industry leaks.
The devices will feature MediaTek flagship chipsets. The base X500 model will run on the Dimensity 9600, while the Pro and Pro Max variants will debut the Dimensity 9600 Pro. This new processor architecture consists of eight cores, including two high-performance cores clocked at 4.55 GHz, three at 4.35 GHz, and three at 3.1 GHz.
The premium models will feature camera systems developed in partnership with Zeiss and Sony. These cameras support a dynamic range of up to 17 EV and are capable of recording 4K video at 240 frames per second. All smartphones in the series will ship with the OriginOS 7 operating system.
OriginOS 7 introduces the Atomic Workbench feature, designed to enhance multitasking. This tool allows users to display up to five applications on a single screen simultaneously. The functionality is intended to streamline workflows involving documents, email, messaging, and web searches.
