Earlier, on September 10, vivo announced Jay Chou as its new imaging ambassador. The announcement featured a video of the artist unboxing the vivo X500 Pro Max smartphone. The device retains the design language of its predecessor, featuring a large circular camera module and a two-tone body finish.
The camera module on the new model prominently displays the blue Zeiss logo. Prior to this partnership, vivo collaborated with Jay Chou for the X300 series, which was designated as the official concert device for the Jay Chou Carnival World Tour 2026 in Beijing.
