VisionLabs has deployed its Luna Cars computer vision system at a Moscow office of MTS. The technology automates parking access by identifying vehicles and their license plates, with recognition taking less than one second. The system automatically triggers gate operations and logs all traffic events.
Beyond license plates, the AI identifies vehicle attributes including type, category, brand, model, color, and position. The software processes both real-time video streams and archived footage. It can also detect people, animals, smoke, and fire, supporting broader security and facility management tasks.
MTS plans to scale the Luna Cars solution to its other office locations. This project follows previous collaborations between the two companies, including the implementation of the VL-BIO biometric access control system in five Moscow offices and the use of the Luna Scanner system for emergency detection.
The Luna Cars platform is designed for various environments, such as industrial sites, construction zones, and urban roads. It supports traffic flow management, vehicle counting, marketing analytics, and the identification of stolen vehicles through its integrated security features.
