The system utilizes PostgreSQL for data storage and includes features such as audit trails, user access controls, and automated notifications. It supports complex formulas and allows for the definition of reporting deadlines and data submission rules within the application.
To facilitate migration from existing spreadsheets, Smart Forms Pro incorporates an AI-powered Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. This allows large language models to assist in converting legacy Excel templates into the new system, reducing the manual effort required for setup.
While Smart Forms Pro functions as a standalone solution, it offers integration with the Visiology BI platform. This connection enables automatic updates to data visualizations on dashboards whenever source data is refined or corrected within the reporting forms.
