Vinci4D Inc. has secured $250 million in a Series B funding round, reaching a valuation of $1.5 billion. The company develops an AI-based physics foundation model that allows engineers to predict hardware behavior before manufacturing.

More than 40 semiconductor companies currently use Vinci4D software in production projects. The technology integrates AI foundation models with GPU-based simulation to accelerate design verification and improve engineering efficiency.

The semiconductor industry is approaching $1 trillion in annual revenue. As design complexity increases, the sector is shifting toward system-level engineering, where compute, memory, and power components must be tightly coordinated.

The upcoming SEMICON West event, scheduled for October 14 in San Francisco, will focus on these industry shifts. Discussions will cover AI-powered engineering, physics intelligence, and the challenges of cross-industry collaboration in hardware development.
