Venice AI, founded by ShapeShift creator Erik Voorhees, has reached a market capitalization between $1,61 billion and $1,66 billion. The platform currently serves over 4 million users and reports an annualized revenue run-rate exceeding $100 million, while processing approximately 250 billion tokens daily.

The project's native VVV token launched on the Base blockchain on January 27, 2025. It is used for staking to provide access to API inference capacity. Out of a total supply of 81 million tokens, 48,4 million are currently in circulation. The token is trading near its all-time high of $34,39.

In July 2026, the company secured $65 million in a Series A funding round led by Dragonfly and Coinbase Ventures, reaching a valuation of $1 billion. This marked the platform's first equity raise since its launch in May 2024. The service currently hosts over 200 models for text, image, and video generation.

Venice AI introduced a second token, DIEM, in August 2025, which represents tokenized perpetual compute credits. Additionally, on September 18, 2026, the platform integrated with the Circle Agent Marketplace. This partnership allows AI agents to settle transactions for inference services using USDC without human intervention.
