In early October 2026, the cryptocurrency market will see token releases totaling $1.11 billion. Major projects, including Hyperliquid, Ethena, and Aptos, are scheduled to increase their circulating supplies, which may impact short-term market volatility.
Hyperliquid will unlock 3.75 million HYPE tokens on October 6, valued at $340 million. This amount represents 1.69% of the released supply and is designated for a single institutional buyer. The project operates a decentralized perpetual futures exchange on its own Layer-1 blockchain.
Ethena plans to release 171.88 million ENA tokens on October 5, with a market value of $41.52 million. This distribution accounts for 1.88% of the released supply. The tokens will be allocated to core contributors and investors within the synthetic dollar protocol.
Aptos will unlock 11.31 million APT tokens on October 11, worth $9.06 million, representing 0.64% of its released supply. The allocation includes 3.96 million tokens for core contributors, 3.21 million for the community, 2.81 million for investors, and 1.33 million for the foundation.
Beyond these three projects, additional token supplies are expected to enter the market during the same period from Aerodrome Finance, Movement, and Babylon.
