Ultra, a developer of industrial AI robots for e-commerce, has secured $50 million in a Series A funding round led by Framework Ventures. The company previously raised $12 million in a round led by Y Combinator and NextView Ventures.

The company produces the Operator (OP1) robot, which is designed for order packaging in logistics warehouses. Launched in spring 2026, the stationary unit connects to standard power and Ethernet, allowing for deployment in less than a day.

Ultra operates under a robots-as-a-service model, charging clients a monthly fee for hardware, software, and support. This approach aims to eliminate the need for significant upfront capital investments from customers.

To date, Ultra’s robots have processed over 500,000 orders at facilities in New York, Georgia, New Jersey, and Texas. Highline Commerce, a third-party logistics provider based in Brooklyn, is among the company's early clients.

The startup is headquartered at Industry City in Brooklyn and plans to expand its office and production space in the coming year. Ultra expects to have hundreds of robots deployed across various locations by 2027.
