Turbo Cloud and the Russian State Geological Prospecting University (MGRI) have signed a three-year scientific and technical cooperation agreement. Rostelecom will provide the technological infrastructure for developing, training, and deploying AI services for geological exploration and subsoil use.

The partners are focusing on the NedraGPT AI expert system, which analyzes geological reports against a database of 145 million documents across nine fields. The system identifies critical issues before reports are submitted to the State Commission on Reserves.

The collaboration also involves adapting the Selena AI assistant, built on the Selena-Semantic 1.53 platform. Future updates will enable the tool to draft report corrections, manage licensing calendars, and generate executive summaries for management.

Solutions will be available via a SaaS model or for deployment within a client's own infrastructure, ensuring compliance with local data protection laws. The partnership also includes joint research, grant applications, and student internship programs.
