TSMC announced its financial results for August, reporting a record revenue of $16,26 billion. This figure marks a 10,1 percent increase compared to the July revenue of $14,49 billion. On a year-over-year basis, the company saw a 39,3 percent growth in revenue for the month of August.

The total revenue for the period from January to August reached approximately $107 billion. These results reflect a sustained demand for advanced silicon and packaging services. The company continues to see customer commitment to new manufacturing nodes despite potential price adjustments for wafers.

According to the Q2 report, the 5 nm node accounted for 33 percent of total revenue, while the 3 nm node contributed 30 percent. The N2 node currently represents 3 percent of the company's revenue. Analysts expect the share of 2 nm node orders to rise following the launch of the Apple iPhone A20 Pro SoC.
