The Tron network is nearing 100 million transactions per week, with stablecoin transfer volumes reaching between $150 billion and $190 billion weekly. The majority of this activity is driven by Tether’s USDT, which saw its supply on the network hit approximately $89 billion by the second quarter of 2026.

During the second quarter of 2026, Tron processed between $2.08 trillion and $2.1 trillion in total stablecoin volume across more than one billion transactions. Average transaction fees have decreased to around seven cents, marking a multiyear low for the platform.

The network utilizes a delegated proof-of-stake consensus model supported by 27 elected Super Representatives to maintain transaction speeds and costs. Recent data indicates that weekly active addresses are trending toward record highs, signaling sustained user engagement.

Tron is currently expanding its ecosystem beyond USDT through new integrations and additional stablecoin launches. These developments occur as global regulatory frameworks for stablecoins continue to evolve in the United States and other major jurisdictions.
