Trip.com has introduced a new incentive program for its teams. Starting last week, if an employee takes a day of 'no-reason leave,' their team receives a bonus of ¥600. This reward can be used for team-building activities or other group purposes.

This initiative follows the company's announcement in April 2024 regarding a one-year management experiment scheduled to begin on May 1, 2026. The study will involve approximately 6,000 employees divided into experimental and control groups.

Participants in the experimental group will be granted up to 45 days of 'no-reason leave' annually, in addition to existing paid leave. Employees can request this time off without providing a specific reason, while maintaining standard payroll and attendance rules.

The company has a history of exploring flexible work arrangements, including the '3+2' hybrid model implemented in 2022. Additionally, Trip.com offers benefits such as three days of paid parental leave and remote work options for customer service staff.
