Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chair of BitMine Immersion Technologies, identified Ethereum as the future settlement layer for Wall Street and artificial intelligence. He highlighted the network's growing role in financial infrastructure, specifically citing the tokenization of traditional assets and the rise of autonomous agentic AI as key drivers.

Lee noted that agentic AI systems will be capable of executing transactions independently of human oversight. He pointed to the recent breakout in the ETH/BTC ratio as a market signal that investors are beginning to price in this transition toward Ethereum as a primary settlement rail.

BitMine Immersion Technologies has actively supported this thesis through investment, currently holding an ether stake approaching 5%. Despite this position remaining underwater on a cost basis, the company continues to maintain its exposure to the asset.

Ethereum demonstrated relative strength during a recent market downturn, emerging as one of the few top-ten assets to trade higher over a seven-day period. While Bitcoin, BNB, XRP, Solana, Zcash, and Hyperliquid recorded weekly losses, Ethereum maintained its position.

On Monday, Ethereum traded at approximately $2,518, showing a minor 24-hour decline of 0.1%. In comparison, Bitcoin traded near $77,100, experiencing a daily drop of more than 1.5%.
