Thunderobot has unveiled the AI Master M7000, a mobile workstation powered by the Ryzen AI Max+ 395 processor. The device features a unique dual-configuration SSD, combining 768 GB of standard storage with 85 GB of aiDAPTIV cache memory. This cache acts as an intermediary layer between the RAM and the primary SSD storage, allowing for efficient management of AI model data.
Equipped with 64 GB of RAM, the laptop is designed to run large language models locally, including the GPT-OSS-120B and other MoE-class 120B models. The processor operates with a power limit of 160 W, which exceeds the typical performance threshold for these APUs. The system also includes a 16-inch display with a 1600p resolution and a 165 Hz refresh rate.
The hardware package is rounded out by a 99 Wh battery, USB4 and OCuLink ports, and a total weight of 2.45 kg. As of now, the manufacturer has not disclosed the pricing or availability details for the new workstation.
