The market for euro-denominated stablecoins has grown significantly, reaching a total capitalization of approximately $835 million by mid-August 2026. This is a substantial increase from the €50 million recorded at the beginning of 2024.

Three blockchain networks dominate the sector, collectively holding 91.5% of the market share. Ethereum leads with 69.5% of the supply, followed by Solana at 14.8% and the Coinbase-backed Base network at 6.9%.

Regulatory compliance has become a key feature of the market. By mid-2026, the supply of MiCA-compliant stablecoins reached approximately $674 million, indicating that most assets in circulation operate under established regulatory frameworks.

Two primary issuers control over 80% of the total supply. Circle’s EURC accounts for up to 63% of the market, while SG Forge’s EURCV, supported by Société Générale, also maintains a significant presence.

Other networks, including Gnosis, XRP Ledger, BNB Chain, and Avalanche, host euro stablecoins across roughly 17 different chains. However, their combined market share remains below 9% of the total capitalization.
