The Hashgraph Group (THG), a Swiss firm developing solutions on the Hedera distributed ledger, has achieved IBM Silver Partner status. As part of the agreement, the company has listed its IDTrust platform on the IBM Cloud Catalog, marking the first time a Hedera-based enterprise application has appeared on a major cloud marketplace.

The IDTrust platform provides self-sovereign identity management for humans, machines, and AI agents, utilizing W3C standards. It includes a Know-Your-Agent feature designed to verify the identity of autonomous AI systems. The solution is built to comply with the EU AI Act and eIDAS 2.0 regulatory frameworks.

THG reports that the platform increases credential verification speeds by up to 90% and reduces identity-related security incidents by 85%. The company estimates that organizations can achieve a return on investment within six months of implementation.

The partnership builds on an existing relationship, as IBM has served on the Hedera governing council since 2019. THG has already deployed a verified caller ID service for a European telecom provider and is currently exploring applications in supply chain traceability and carbon markets.
