Tether has established a Swiss nonprofit organization called the Financial Access and Systemic Empowerment Foundation, or FASE. The foundation includes 11 founding stakeholders, such as Kraken, Chainalysis, Solana Foundation, Anchorage Digital, Bitfury, Bybit, Fasanara Capital, Opera, Pave Bank, Prosper Global, and Tether.

The organization focuses on three primary programs. The first initiative, in partnership with Goodwall, aims to provide digital safety education to up to 10 million young people across Africa, Latin America, and Southeast Asia. The second program supports human trafficking survivors in six African countries through the UN Trust Fund.

The third initiative involves a pilot program for stablecoin-based humanitarian aid. Developed alongside Prosper Global, the project intends to reach approximately 1 million people. The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime acts as a strategic partner for the foundation's broader efforts.

This launch aligns with Tether's ongoing expansion into real-world applications for its stablecoin infrastructure. The company previously collaborated with Fasanara Capital on a $400 million private-credit fund. The new foundation serves as a platform for industry players to coordinate philanthropic and humanitarian activities.
