Tesla and SpaceX are currently in negotiations with over 10 South Korean semiconductor, component, and equipment suppliers. The discussions aim to establish a supply chain for the Terafab facility.

Representatives from Terafab visited several booths during the SEMICON West 2026 exhibition held in San Francisco from October 13 to October 15. The team specifically targeted companies such as ENF Technology, Dongjin Semichem, Asflow, BMT, GnG Intech, Unisem, MiCo, and Hanmi Semiconductor.

According to industry sources, the Terafab team arrived at the event with a pre-determined list of companies and products. Several of these South Korean firms have already signed non-disclosure agreements to discuss specific supply requirements.

Currently, HPSP and Hanmi Semiconductor are the only two South Korean equipment suppliers that have publicly confirmed their involvement with Terafab.
