Tencent has released version 5.5.6 of its WorkBuddy platform, introducing full-stack web application generation capabilities. This update allows users to create applications that include built-in cloud databases, file storage, user registration, and AI model integration without requiring manual deployment.

The new tool enables a closed-loop development process where page generation, data configuration, and deployment occur entirely within the WorkBuddy environment. Users can manage structured data with permission controls, implement identity authentication, and access large language models without needing to manage individual API keys.

Alongside these features, Tencent has updated the membership structure for individual users in China. Free accounts now receive 5 GB of storage space for their database libraries, while paid subscribers gain access to larger capacities.

The platform also introduced a cloud service resource system. Users can enable cloud services for their applications based on specific needs, with the number of active applications and monthly resource points determined by the user's subscription tier. Resource consumption is calculated based on application traffic and usage patterns.
